Got up today, Jesse didn't have to work, so we decided to go North and hike. Picked up an interested party met online and the three of us crossed the bridge and went North on 101 to CA 1 to the Muir Forest nat'l park. Hiked among the Coastal Redwood and Giant sequoias. Today was 1st tuesday, many museums in the city are free. Went to the Museum of Asian Art, I found the buddha and bodhisatva forms most compelling, and the weapons and armor aroused my interest (as usual). Then to the San Francisco Museum of Modern art. So Jesse's place here in san fran is actaully in the Presidio Of San Franciso National Forest. Stepping out of the appartment, you can hear the sound of the waves on the shore. Walk across the street and a down a hill and you are on Baker Beach with a spectactular view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Good movies, good food (Jesse is a good cook), ( Read more... )

After a 7+ hour drive, including several wrong turns, I made it to my friend Jesse's place. Its a three minute walk to the beach with a fabulous view of the Golden Gate Bridge. And now, two and a half weeks of freedom. WHOOOHOOOO!!!
